Which are the customs formalities?
If you are moving to an European Union country, there are no customs formalities to follow.
If you are moving from a country outside the European Union, you must provide to the customs authorities: document of change of residence (passport, title of property or rental); a document from the locator or the municipal authority; a detailed inventory of the transferred possessions.
In France, the exit of certain goods or possessions is subject to an export declaration, and in certain cases, to the payment of taxes: guns and ammunition; gold and gold objects; double-use technological products; alcohol, wild fauna and flora specimens; cultural goods; among others, and depending on the destination country.
How to export my vehicle?
In the case of exporting a vehicle, you must have with you the following documents: licence number certificates, driver’s licence, international insurance certificate. You must seek information in the country of destination regarding the inscription of the vehicle with the local authorities.
How can I take my pet with me?
The sanitary conditions to the entrance of company animals vary accordingly to the country of destination and the animal in question. The European Countries have common regulation for dogs, cats and ferrets. For the remaining animals, each country has its own regulation.
